Artist Statement

My work draws inspiration from the natural world, translating singular colors, forms, and shifting light into meditative compositions. Using photographs taken in wild places as references, I create pieces that evoke a quiet sense of mystery and subtle magic. I am especially drawn to the strange elegance of the New Jersey Pine Barrens, whose landscapes continue to shape my visual language.
